Bio
I obtained a degree in Physics at the University of Valencia and the Research aptitude in Environmental Engineering at the University of Zaragoza. I hold the Master in Philosophy, Science and Values by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).

I am currently working towards a PhD within the 'Philosophy, Science and Values' PhD Programme at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).
My doctoral research is related to three core ideas: a better understanding and implementation of the citizen science, the framework of the European scientific policies – ‘Responsible Research and Innovation' (RRI) and ‘Science with and for society' (SwafS) in particular -, and the vision of knowledge as a commons. I am particularly interested in knowing the motivations of the different involved actors as well as the conditions to achieve a citizen science that favors the constitution of science as a commons.

Since 2007 I have actively collaborated with the Ibercivis Foundation for Citizen Science in Spain, and since September 2016 I am a member of the RRI Working Group of the European Citizen Science Association.

My research interests include: scientific and civic education, philosophy of science and technology, science and technology policy, ethics, environmental issues, citizenship models, and human rights.
